Leila Ladd is one of interns at Brio. This is her second year as an intern. She is a sophmore at Winchester High School and sings in the chorus. She’s very talented, thinks outside the box, she takes her projects seriously and we are proud to say she works here!
We interviewed Leila about her internship here….
What is unique about Brio to you?
Leila: Being able to do what I’m interested in and knowing that there are people who give me space to explore and learn new skills.
What project are you working on?
Leila: Sophie and I are working on a music video for the song ‘Perfect’. This original song is from Brio’s movie “The Portal” that was part of the Burlington High School LABBB project. I was fortunate enough to be able to sing that song for the movie. And now we are making a video for that song!
What are you learning by working on the project?
Leila: I’m really learning patience and understand that there is a lot of effort and time that does into any project. I’m learning how to brainstorm ideas with others, do storyboards, use a camera, and editing skills as well.
One word to describe Brio?
Leila: Connected.
