Light It Up Blue Winchester 2017

April 6, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

We are lighting it up blue for International Autism Awareness Month in April

It’s Winchester’s 5th Year commemorating Autism Awareness. You are invited to Winchester Town Hall at 7PM on April 6th.  Special guest is Winchester artist John Williams, the WDAC and Lynch special education teacher, Jennifer Flaherty. Plus a puppet performance, balloons, coffee and blue donuts.

Following the event Winchester’s blue lights will be turned on around the Winchester center!

Winchester, along with the international autism community, commemorates the United Nations-sanctioned World Autism Awareness Month.

7 Continents, 101 countries, 1300 cities, 8400 landmarks and buildings, even the international space station.

You can show your support for Autism Awareness in the month of April by: Wearing blue: Incorporate blue in your clothes for the month of April, starting on April 6th. Light your home blue: Buy some blue light bulbs for your front porch light or outdoor lights. Ask neighbors and friends to light their homes blue, too!

This program is sponsored by the Winchester Disability Access Commission and co-sponsored by Brio Integrated Theatre and the Winchester Multicultural Network,
