The Portal is an award-winning comedy/fantasy film about friendship and accepting the differences in ourselves and others. Set in a high school, Stanley and Robert want a little magic in their lives, unaware that a simple ball will propel them and others in a journey to another dimension that will change their lives. Do you like adventure, magic, wizards, dinosaurs and fire-breathing dragons? Then you will love this movie!

This project was produced by  Brio Integrated Theatre and included 75 participants from Burlington, Winchester and Woburn (film crew, costume design, props, editing, writing, music, research). The film features 21 actors with special needs from the LABBB Collaborative at Burlington High School and interns from Winchester and from NUPATH in Woburn.

Written by 2 high school students. The film was shot entirely at Burlington High School. The film also includes technical support from local cable access stations BCAT and WinCAM.
