Art Exhibit at the Open Door Gallery February 9 – May 8, 2015
“To express, to teach, to communicate ideas, thoughts and insights about the human experience. To teach, to learn. We are taught by others and often, in a more authentic manner, through experience, are capable of teaching ourselves. Simultaneously, we become teacher and student and hopefully open to this learning as lifelong process.
This exhibit is a retrospective of learning experiences and investigations that I have pursued and expressed visually.
I hope that you will find the subject matter and imagery interesting, stimulating and informative. Next to each work is an explanation of the imagery as I understood it at the time I was creating the work, but your perspective and perceptions are encouraged as well.”
