Author, Jill Mullin, will join John M. Williams, is an autistic artist residing in Winchester, in a book signing at local bookstore, BookEnds on 4/17 at 7 pm. The book Drawing Autism includes a foreword by Temple Grandin and the glorious creativity of 40 autistic artists.
Over the past decade, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has become an international topic of conversation, knowing no racial, ethnic, or social barriers. Using artwork created by individuals with ASD, coupled with interviews with the artists, behavioral analyst and educator Jill Mullin has assembled a compelling book. April is Autism Awareness Month and BookEnds is featuring this book-signing event to promote awareness in Winchester.
