Many from the community came to see the performance at Nextdoor Theater in Winchester MA. After four (two hour) workshops, the Theater for All had a successful production. The artists did a fantastic job and came up with creative theatrical ideas. The show was the collaboration with the children (15 in all) of all abilities.

The theme of the show was "Dreams and Wishes". Leila Ladd, was the our star - the sleeping girl, who wished, dreamed, and woke up to a new day. The whole cast played "the dreams" that drift through the mind, Amanda Chapin danced in the 'Violin Lullabye', Vilma Barrios played the flute, Nicholas Bingham, Tia Eleisi and Anna Burnett skipped and hopped in 'Fun and Laughter', everyone frolic in the mesmerising 'Ocean of Dreams', Salwa Galal was in 'Desert Mystery' - performing a wonderful desert wind dance, and Chip Rollins and Will Burstein played "Mirror". At the end the entire cast came out on the stage with the final uplifting fun song about waking up.

Sound editing was done by Mike Petroff, Fatma Elshobokshy and Adam Fahim. Sound was by Dina Fahim and the wonderful lighting was done by lighting master: Adam Fahim. Wincam producer Margo Attaya filmed the workshops and performance for an upcoming cable show, stay tuned!

All the music was picked out by the ensemble, and we all worked together to capture the right movement and/or dance for the musical program.

At Brio, we know that creativity is in all of us so we were not surprised from the success of our first Theater for All workshop!  We were very excited about our production that was performed April 11th! All the children looked forward to be part of it.

This collaborative project with Kidstock in Winchester, MA was to do integrated theatrical workshops and a performance. Children from all age groups and abilities from our community participated from the elementary schools to the high school. Tickets were sold at $5.
